Nikki Szabo hits Cheltenham

We were so proud to have received such a positive response to our collections at Monday’s Curtain Blind and Furnishing Makers exhibition at the Cheltenham Racecourse. As any designer will understand, it was with some trepidation that we set up our stand and waited for the doors to open, wondering how our products would fare under the expert eye of the visitors. But as we started to talk to people and show them our designs, we were so pleased (and relieved!!) to receive such praise and enthusiasm for our collections.

The timing of the exhibition was perfect to give the visitors a sneak peak of our new paintbox collection and they loved it! The new, flexible collection will allow interior designers and individuals the creative freedom to tailor our fabrics to suit the exact requirements of the project. We’ll be posting full details of the collection soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

We’re now hard at work fulfilling swatch book orders placed during the show and these will be winging their way out over the next week. Exciting times.

Introducing paintbox: our bespoke fabric collection

We are so excited to tell you about the launch of our new paintbox collection of fabrics. As we work with a lot of interior designers, as well as individual customers, we know that a tailored approach to colour and design can bring real benefits in terms of flexibility and choice to an interiors project. As all fabrics are made to order in our studio, and knowing the flexibility that brings, Nikki was inspired to design a collection that really allows our lovely customers to flex their creative muscles and provide a really tailored product for their project. And so, paintbox was born.

The idea is simple. With paintbox, you have the creative freedom to tailor our fabrics to suit your requirements, in three easy steps:

Choose your design – we have more than 70 brand new designs within the paintbox collection already and exciting new collections will follow regularly. Watch this space for news of new designs coming soon.

Choose your colour – our paintbox colour swatch features 400 carefully selected colours to give you real choice, so you can match your fabric to the other accessories in the scheme.

Choose your fabric – your choice of Half Panama Cotton, Natural Cotton/Linen and Cotton Satin to complete the look.

Our new website is live!

Hurrah! After lots of planning, late nights, conversations and photo shoots, we have launched this, our new website. In all of its shiny, full bleed, responsive glory, we hope you like the new look and enjoy browsing. We will feature all of our collections, with great photos and full product information so you can get a real sense of the quality and detail of our designs.

You can also read more about us and keep up to date with all the goings on, as we regularly post on this news page.

With thanks to Mark Langridge for our wonderful product photography, to Mzuri Design for the site design and project management, and to Sam Joyce for his technical wizardry in building the site.

Happy browsing.

a new collection inspired by Kew garden's Summer Festival

There is nothing like getting out in to the great outdoors to look for inspiration for our developing collections, so we jumped at the chance of a day trip to Kew Gardens to enjoy their Summer Festival.

We were hoping for a feast of colours and textures to inspire us, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. The Festival runs until 7 September and if you haven’t visited yet we would highly recommend it. With features such as the Barefoot Walk, Tai Chi session, Plant Family Croquet and our own favourite, the Gin and Tonics Garden!

Our new floral collection is coming on a treat and we can’t wait to share it with you soon.
